perhaps add the ding fries are done to cultual references?

Sources of weed

In the episode "Jungle Love", Brian said to Chris that he was on a trip and got high on weed for a long period of time. This episode somehow relates to "Jungle Love", Peter and Lois found weed under Brian's bed, which determines that he brought back the weed from the trip.

If I recall correctly, that was when Brian was in the Peace Corps. I don't think there was anything to indicate how long ago that was. It could have been as long ago as five or six years ago. But then again, I don't know what's the shelf life of weed. Cromulent Kwyjibo 21:36, 11 April 2006 (UTC)

Deletion

Why is this being considered for deletion? Surely the more articles for Wikipedia the better, as the number of articles is what sets it apart from other encyclopaedias.

The number of quality articles would "set it apart from other encyclopaedias." Some people think that Family Guy episode articles aren't quality articles even after people like me put so much effort into improving them. Cromulent Kwyjibo 22:24, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

I don't think any Family Guy episode article should be deleted. Especially when this show has many cultural references that alot of people have no idea what they mean. I, personally, go to these Family Guy episodes sections to read the cultural references.

Taxi Driver?

In the article it mentions that Brian saying that all taxi drivers carry a gun is a reference to the movie Taxi Driver, but I've never seen that movie, and I understood it just fine. What I mean is, I don't think that's a reference to anything in particular, unless he actually quotes the movie, or something else about that scene is another reference. --Gero 06:58, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

Weed

The end of the article is obviously POV supporting marijuana, i'm too lazy to mess with it....66.41.59.162 02:05, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

Eh, not really. The portrayal in the episode is in fact inaccurate; maybe some meticulous redrafting could make the language in this article dead-neutral, but I don't think it's so egregious as to say "obviously POV supporting marijuana."--65.34.239.27 14:30, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
I'm removing the word "inaccurate" from the end of the episode summary because I think it is inappropriate there, especially considering the lengthy marijuana comment in the notes section.-- Ddawn23 05:45, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
Why is it inappropriate to use the word "inaccurate" to describe a factually incorrect speech? Marijuana is NOT a "weak form of acid", as Chris claims. FYI, LSD is not present in marijuana. LSD's psychotropic effects aren't at all similar to THC's and if you doubt me, why don't you compare the two yourself? (But please, get a sitter for the LSD part.) I don't recall the rest of his speech off of the top of my head (http://www.halfvalue.com/wiki.jsp?topic=Deep_Throats claims that he said it could cause brain damage as well, which is blatantly false), but this alone is proof enough that Chris's speech contained claims which were blatantly factually inaccurate.
By analogy, if I made a short speech in which I claimed that caffeine was a mild form of crystal meth, it would be more than fair to call that speech "inaccurate". --Lode Runner 04:12, 29 August 2007 (UTC)

Black panther

I noticed on the page that someone typed in 3 possible references to Cleveland turning into a black panther. Hearing the commentaries on the DVD Alex Borstein states it's in reference to the "Black or White" video by Michael Jackson. I would like to hear any opinions otherwise I will rephrase that portion

I thought it was a reference to the Manimal series. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 209.124.114.58 (talk) 16:40, 18 December 2006 (UTC).

Scooby Doo

Scooby Doo has famous walking music?

Scooby Doo has walking?

Seriously, dudes, they are either driving or running away like idiots. Please help me understand.

Justify My Something

I'm probably stepping on a toe or three but I deleted the reference to Mayor West's attack on the Noid being 'justified'. West brutally -murders- a humanoid over a pizza. In other words, the phrasing was weirding me out. Plus, the trivia and refs sections are waaaaaay too long anyway. Lots42 04:08, 27 September 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:FGDeepThroats.jpg

Image:FGDeepThroats.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
