Merge DelGrosso Amusement Park into this article[edit]

These two articles are clearly about the same subject, I propose that they be merged. -- Steevo714 23:25, 6 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Edits made to page[edit]

I have made changes to this article in the following areas:

1) It required some rework with improper punctuation, sentence structure and grammar.

2) The article needed some reorganization as information in the History section did not belong in History. I created a new section for this material.

3) The article made assumptions based upon the park's plans and motives...this should be avoided in an encyclopedia article.

4) I added a link to DelGrosso Foods, Inc...an article should be written about DelGrosso Foods to go along with this article which would allow for more detail about the unique relationship D.A.P and DelGrosso Foods share.

Any other thoughts about possible edits to the article are appreciated...I hope everyone approves of the attempt to improve this article.

What was on site in 1946[edit]

Currently it states that "only a few picnic shelters remained" when the DelGrossos took over the park in 1946. This cannot be true, as the carousel is in its original location and dates from the 1920s. See http://carousels.org/census/census-CLA.html National Carousel Census. I'd edit this, but I'm not sure what to edit it to, since the original claim is itself uncited and I cannot find confirmation of what exactly else may or may not have been on site on the time.
