Dead Link Question[edit]

Hey! New wikipedian here. I noticed my 2nd Reference was flagged as a dead link. I then double checked and the link pulls up perfectly fine? the link in question is: " http://news.google.com/newspapers?id=tjdTAAAAIBAJ&sjid=HYMDAAAAIBAJ&pg=5073%2C1316416 " Question: are news.google.com/ links not acceptable? Is there something else I can do, or should I just not use that website in the future?

I reverted the change, but if I'm wrong, let me know, and thanks! JCDavis13 (talk) 05:49, 25 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

There's nothing wrong with it. Maybe there was a temporary outage of Google's server but I've now expanded the citation for this link. De728631 (talk) 15:31, 25 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Apparently it was rather the case that the Reflinks gadget that was used by Derek R Bullamore for this edit could not gather enough information from Google for this specific link. It also provided a wrong title for the Sports Illustrated article (and it seems to mix up "publisher" and "work" when citing sources). De728631 (talk) 15:38, 25 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
