Locations[edit]

I'm sure Mobile had more than one Delchamps location besides the one metioned on Schillinger Road. NitekMobilian 08:49, 8 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

They had many locations, however I doubt any of them are notable (with regards to inclusion on Wikipedia (WP:V and WP:OR issues)). /Blaxthos 22:55, 8 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Mobile stores formerly located in Pinebrook Shopping Center (store number #1) and McGregor Square (flagship) *should* have a modicum of notability over the Schillinger store location. Even the Spring Hill Plaza and Chickasaw stores are more noteworthy.—Preceding unsigned comment added by NitekMobilian (talkcontribs)

I agree. I remember when the store in Spring Hill opened, complete with computerized shopping carts. I'm sure you can find references about that store, if nothing else. /Blaxthos 16:42, 9 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Logo scan?[edit]

Does anyone have a Delchamps logo to scan for this article? Since the company and its successors are now out of business, I don't think we'd have any copyright issues. Realkyhick 01:46, 19 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Delchamps turned to Publix in Tuscaloosa?[edit]

There's mention of a Delchamps converting to a Publix in Tuscaloosa, AL. Currently, there are three Publix stores in Tuscaloosa and two of them are brand new buildings. The third was previously something else, but I don't remember what exactly. I only remember there being one location of Delchamps in the entire city though.

For this to be correct, there would have to have been a Delchamps location at the corner of Highway 69 and McFarland Blvd. Can anyone support this?

Doubtful; if it's not verifiable then feel free to yank it. //Blaxthos ( t / c ) 11:59, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There is a location in Perdido Key, Florida where a Delchamps went to JitneyJungle, and is now a Publix, at the corner of Sorrento Road and Innerarity Point Road. ShalimarWildcat (talk) 20:49, 14 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Rouses[edit]

We had three locations of Delchamps in Lafourche Parish: one in Larose/Cut Off (LA), one in Galliano (LA), and one in Thibodaux (LA). The Larose/Cut Off and Thibodaux stores became Rouse's, while the Galliano store was split into Stage and Dollar General.

As for the ones in Houma, LA: West Park - now Furniture Mart Grand Caillou Road - now Save-a-Lot — Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.62.209.129 (talk) 16:51, 13 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
