Maigret[edit]

Nothing in this article explains why a town in the Netherlands has a statue of Maigret, as seen in the article on that detective. Gmackematix (talk) 23:09, 18 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Maigret is "born" in Delfzijl. Simenon invented him while being there. Exact date February 23, 1929. Salix2 (talk) 17:29, 30 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
