Messy, dirty and congested trains
Messy and dirty stations
Slow speed
Long stops at stations
Not serving the main areas of passanger interest
Poor connectivity to buses, residential areas
Metro system is of much higher standard, runs fast, has AC, is modern and practical

Good proposal would be to integrate the ring-railway with the Delhi Metro system by upgrading the rolling stock to the same standard, upgrading the stations, upgrading the signaling and control systems and implementing practical connectivity to metro system and buses. With more frequent train services the ring line would be practical for those passengers who have to change between different stations, or arrive at one station by long distance train when their destination is on another. Some stations don't seem to have good metro connectivity yet. As it is now it seems however that the few commuter trains currently using the ring line don't connect to important incoming or outgoing long distance trains. --84.119.56.61 (talk) 11:55, 4 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
