I agree with Wikipedia - the article is a poor translation from German and needs extensive editing; I have tried to amend bits and pieces but it is probably beyond hope!! 145.248.192.30 (talk) 10:18, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Parts taht are beyond repair can be deleted until someone is ready to re-add them. RJFJR (talk) 16:16, 22 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Delete?[edit]

Recommended for deletion based on Conflict of Interest I recommended this for deletion because it appears User:Rvancopp is an employee of Crane America, the North American service arm of Demag. Perhaps I am out of line, but this user seems to be self promoting. If there is a better method to handle this, I'd love to learn how to help clean up some of this. --Restocking (talk) 14:06, 26 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Accusations (founded or in this case completely unfounded) of coi are not grounds for article deletion. --Ronz (talk) 18:14, 20 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

inaccurate and outdated[edit]

please see de:Terex Material Handling & Port Solutions: Demag Cranes AG was renamed. and the old DEMAG (de:Demag) does not exist today, it was split into several companies and brands years ago. today we have more than one German company that traces (parts of) its roots back to Demag or kept Demag as part of its name (e.g. de:SMS Siemag and de:Sumitomo (SHI) Demag), so there is not one defined successor of old Demag. Proposed Merger of this article into Konecranes[edit]

I propose that Demag be merged into Konecranes. The two companies have merged and they both have large articles that could be condensed. Any input, especially from users not employed by the companies, is appreciated. Restocking (talk) 14:04, 6 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
