reverted hacking[edit]

Someone seems to have hacked the article and removed all the corrections I added. I have reverted it to the corrected version. They could be using the name User:TylerBurden or NagNandoor - but that latter name gets no usere with that name "Wikipedia does not have a user page with this exact name" sic when I click on this. 91.154.169.156 (talk) 19:13, 5 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

There is no "hacking", you removed referenced content, and replaced it with unreferenced content, hence the fact that your edits were reverted. TylerBurden (talk) 01:53, 8 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. This was additional important information, beyond previous years' annual totals. 2001:8A0:65AE:3B00:A037:5176:5120:938 (talk) 22:27, 11 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

False claim concerning historical languages in Finland[edit]

Under the section "First languages of the foreign population" there is a claim that "Historically, Finland has been a bilingual country where only Finnish or Swedish was spoken." This claim is obviously not completely accurate. Sámi (and Karelian) should also be mentioned, especially considering the Sámi people are recognized by the Finnish Government as an indigenous people. The original claim is not supported by the cited source either. I edited this passage, but the new version was for some reason restored. Eli Olsson (talk) 18:10, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Finnish and Swedish are equal, official (national) languages in Finland.
[1][2] . Sami, Karelian etc are ”only” official minority languages. Peltimikko (talk) 05:32, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
