The Population by race table makes no sense, the sum is not 100%. Ditto. Joke: 50% use stats correctly, and 75% don't. For many months I have been writing to Wikipedia about the harm that their coronavirus articles can do. Politicians base funding and emergency aid on false info. Also, people base their decisions to avoid COVID based on Wikipedia stats. LA County refuses to post numbers of recovered cases. Surely after 8 months, someone recovered (supposed to be recovered in 14 days after symptoms appear, though "long-haulers" linger for months). Active cases are far more important than stats about all those who once had COVID. Wikipedia should have a disclaimer that the COVID cases are not active cases. USC (Univ of So Cal) published a study that nose tests show about 1/10 of the people who show positive for blood tests (those with antibodies who once had it). The Wikipedia article doesn't even print disclaimers, and they have refused to do so when I have pointed out that they need them. Free speech is important, so Facebook and others were wrong to ban posts that disagreed with experts (example: experts said masks were not necessary). We must allow facts and insist that they are backed by real data, and allow opinions with disclaimers. Example of an important opinion, not yet backed by stats: (Goggles, that seal to the face, should be mandatory (viruses enter through eyes, and go directly to sinuses)). When data isn't clear, there must be a disclaimer (which Wikipedia doesn't have).
