It might be worth mentioning alleged links between phosphates and type 2 diabetes. Just considering that it has the highest rate of type 2 in the world and is essentially a phosphate mine. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.122.164.174 (talk) 16:03, 19 March 2009 (UTC)

This article is totally out of date

The population has decreased significantly, from over 12000 in 2002 to about 9000 now. Migration should also show a net loss, with Polynesian workers leaving. Corrections and sources would be welcome.Avman89 (talk) 19:39, 22 November 2009 (UTC)

Orphaned references in Demographics of Nauru

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Demographics of Nauru's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "factbook":

  • From South Africa: "South Africa". The World Factbook. CIA.
  • From Lesotho: CIA World Factbook, retrieved 28 February 2012
  • From Nigeria: "Nigeria". The World Factbook. Central Intelligence Agency (United States).
  • From United Kingdom: "United Kingdom". The World Factbook. Central Intelligence Agency. Retrieved 23 September 2008.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 19:38, 7 July 2014 (UTC)
