Patent Ubsurditiy[edit]

"The demographics of Quebec constitutes a complex and sensitive issue, especially as it relates to the National Question of Canada.

The demographics are simple. The independance and languages issues WERE Complex.

The demographics are still complex since is it hard to answer a census on ethnic origin when you have choices such as french, canadian and quebecer. "Quebec is the only province in Canada to feature a francophone (French-speaking) majority, and where anglophones (English-speakers) constitute an officially recognized minority group."

Quebec is not a sovereign country.

"Thus, they usually become fluent in French as well as in English." There is nothing to support this statement in the article.

Infant mortality corrected[edit]

The Statistics Canada page was misinterpreted. The infant mortality rate was not listed as a percentage, but as a part-per-thousand.
