Demolition[edit]

This took before the strike. The village was rebuilt during the 70's.

It was possible from almost every street to look down to the colliery[edit]

Not really. Perhaps Cadeby Pit could be seen, but not Denaby. In fact one 'end' of Denaby was at right angles to the other.92.23.169.84 (talk) 23:40, 8 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
