General[edit]

Great to see this page becoming more fleshed out with information. I'd recommend an expert develop a section on the demographics of the area, schools and fountains. 07/08/2012 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 27.253.112.174 (talk) 09:44, 7 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Commercial[edit]

The commercial and retail hub of West Denistone is the West Denistone Shopping Centre. Featuring a vet and a red postbox, with ample car parking, the cosmopolitan strip between Crosby St and Dunshea St is a favourite place for locals to take their sick animals, post a letter or just park their cars. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.206.173.72 (talk) 07:11, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much for taking the responsible step of adding this edit to comments. I've removed it as advertorial. I honestly couldn't come up with a rephrase that didn't make it still seem like an ad - but if you can, please go for it. Colonel Tom 10:08, 14 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Transport[edit]

What's up with this description of a previously planned high-speed monorail (in Denistone? Seriously?) with no references? It doesn't seem right to me.Xenobea (talk) 09:55, 19 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Demographics[edit]

I don't count myself as an expert, but I had a go at pulling together some representative information from the latest Census. I broke it up as a description list to make it clear that it was looking at a number of unrelated topics; I hope that makes sense to other people.--Gronk Oz (talk) 07:50, 28 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
