Legacy[edit]

I have read many articles on Wikipedia, and Dennis Eckersley's Legacy section is by far the funniest thing I've ever read. Did his publicist write this? The section may as well be fellating the reliever. BrainRotMenacer (talk) 23:35, 8 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's disappointing to see that the Legacy section no longer exists. In Bill Lee's autobiography "The Wrong Stuff" he talks a bit about Eckersley using "cheese" as a word to describe pitches; Eckersley called himself the "Cheese Master." The word "cheese" is now commonly used in the lexicon of baseball pitchers and that is part of his legacy. Wastrel Way (talk) 02:23, 26 August 2019 (UTC) Eric[reply]

Eckersley Biography[edit]

I would like to add, The Baseball Page.com as a external link for Dennis Eckersley. We have a library of articles and biographies for players and would like to add the link to other baseball players as well. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dodgers Ebbets (talkcontribs) 17:46, 18 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Personal Life[edit]

I do not think the item about Eckersley's brother, in the Personal Life section, should be included. It is irrelevant to the subject of the article. I am going to remove it under WP:BOLD and see if anyone objects.Purplethree (talk) 17:12, 17 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
