Improving the article with correct citations and more recent high-quality sources[edit]

The "Death" section relies in part on a Seven News article which itself cites The Sun, and neglects to mention that the 7NEWS article identifies the theory "Kireyev was executed as a double agent" as a Russian read of the situation. This all should be rectified. Please consider the following additional sources:
