Article name[edit]

The all-caps article name and sentence "Cambodian American Repatriation is a program started by ..." imply that this is some sort of official US government programme. However, there's no such programme by that name [1]; the only hits for the term are Wikipedia mirrors. So I will move the article and change the introductory sentence. cab 13:26, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cambodian Americans, really?[edit]

Cambodian American says: "A Cambodian American is an American who..." but Deportation of Cambodian Americans says that this article is about "convicted Cambodian American criminals who lack United States citizenship". Is it consistent to say that somebody without US citizenship (nor, presumably, US nationality) is an American? Apokrif (talk) 14:40, 30 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you have any suggestions, feel free to offer them. Fxm12 (talk) 14:59, 30 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Issues[edit]

Please check these issues as I may be mistaken:

The following external links are dead:

1. Khor Sang Website

2. Deported Diaspora's Website

Note this statement:

"Currently,[when?] several deportees set up and work for a local harm reeducation organization, Korsang, providing help for drug addicts."

What is Korsang all about?

I can find no further information.

In addition, note this statement:

"Korsang has received a lot of attention from the local media as well as international support from leading organizations for its ground-breaking work.[4] They hire Cambodian deportees who go through the neighborhoods and streets in order to talk to drug users. They give out condoms and tell drug addicts about the danger of spreading HIV through sharing needles for heroin use and offer them help in cutting down or quitting their addiction."

Again, I have no idea what Korsang is all about.

The reference link [4] points here:

Montlake, Simon (2003-02-11). "Cambodians deported home". BBC. Retrieved 2006-10-03.

I searched through this article seeking a reference to Korsang.

I saw nothing.

Possibly I missed something?

Thanks so much for your help with documenting this important subject.

Chas.
