Mallory and all followers misspelled the village Дериевка, situated next to Днипродзержинск on the river Dnipro in Ukrainian or Dnepr in Russian. Thus, after ISO 9 correct would be Deryevka, because it it now Ukrainian, but Derievka after the official Russian at the time of Mallory's book. A village Dereivka does not exist in the Ukraine.HJJHolm 13:42, 5 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In Ukraine exists only one village, but his writing had a differences in miscellaneous time. Exist the variants: official ukrainian name Дереївка (Deriyivka), альтернативне ukrainian - Дереївка (Dereyivka or Dereivka). The Official russian name (was used on soviet maps) Дериевка (Deriyevka), alternative - Dereyevka. See maps and geographical coordinates: [1], [2], [3]. --Yakudza 06:46, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Genetics[edit]

First of and above all, thanks for trying to describe the genetics! Nevertheless, it urgently needs to be disentangled. Moreover, checking the Mathieson 2018, I found severe contradictions. Starting alone with the numbers: From Derievka, Mathieson describes 23 (!) analyses, and five from Vasil'evka (only two in the text) - complicated enough.HJJHolm (talk) 08:02, 1 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
