Dermomycoides[edit]
Old literature treats Dermocystidium, Dermosporidium and Dermomycoides as a group, but there does not appear to have been a modern (molecular) investigation into tbe taxonomic position of Dermomycoides, so its inclusion within the order is not verifiable. (Species placed in the actual genus Dermocystidium have turned out to be related to dinoflagellates instead, so we are justified in being skeptical about a different genus.)
