What about creating links to some freeware programs? There's quite a few, such as:

The image File:Stickies 1.0.4 on Mac OS 9.2.2.png is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. ShixxNOTE[edit]

Is the ShixxNOTE application necessary to include in this article? It seems like self promotion from Sirola, who apparently developed ShixxNOTE.
