External links modified[edit]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Deutsche Post (brand). Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

Deutsche Post (brand)Deutsche Post – This title should not use the "(brand)" disambiguation anymore, since the previous main "Deutsche Post" article renamed to "Deutsche Post DHL Group" in 2019 and "DHL Group" in 2023. RidwanZatmiko (talk) 02:22, 11 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support. Initially I wasn't sure about this, but on examining it, it does seem to make sense. Another alternative would be to merge this article to DHL Group. -- Necrothesp (talk) 12:18, 11 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedy deleted as pure vandalism or a blatant hoax, because it obviously is not vandalism and has existed for 15 years. --cfaerber 14:53, 5 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Mis-Informed Reorganization of pages around the DHL name should be carefully revised[edit]

The name of the parent company is Deutsche Post AG. DHL Group, before July 2023 Deutsche Post DHL Group, is a subsidiary, albeit the largest component of Deutsche Post AG. There is also a subsidiary that is the Deutsche Post in the traditional sense, and there are others. The corporation's legal identity as the German government's post office and all of the telecommunications that go with it in a European country, may, for all practical purposes, be impossible to re-name. The corporate structure that allows a nationally chartered monopoly to own a commercial enterprise without subsidizing it should not be simplified to misattribute DHL Group as the owner of Deutsche Post, while describing DHL Group as owned by Deutsche Post AG is true but misleading without further explanation. Simply renaming the company DHL Group on Wikipedia wasn't good editing.PolychromePlatypus (talk) 19:26, 2 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Found by Chance[edit]

I found the file List of national postal services by chance, while writing a table and gallery in a parallel topic. Have added a "See also" link from Deutsche Post and similar files to this list. ----MountVic127 (talk) 01:01, 9 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
