Own article[edit]

Dewey has done some independent work and there is info unrelated to America here, but it is difficult to add/edit that info if someone keeps removing the article. I disagree completely with the assertion by a single editor that everything currently here is covered in the America article. It appears that consensus is for a separate article since only a single editor is objecting. VMS Mosaic (talk) 03:17, 12 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I strongly support a separate article for Bunnell and I am happy to contribute to its creation/expansion. It is very strange that a founder, singer and songwriter of America does not have an article when the band's employed touring bass player does. WWGB (talk) 04:28, 12 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, several editors have objected to the creation of a seperate article for Bunnell. Not that it matters, since if an article fails to meet WP:NOTABILITY standards, it will be deleted regardless of how many editors object. And contrary to your claim, redirecting the article has absolutely no effect on any notable independent work Bunnell may do. If he ever does any, there's nothing to stop editors from adding info on said notable independent work.--NukeofEarl (talk) 15:43, 12 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Nationality[edit]

Hi, Based on what I have studied and learned through my whole life, when one is born in a country AND one of his/her parents are from the same country, he/she is absolutely a citizen of that country, unless, by some specific reason, he/she or his/her parents can provide enough documents and apply to change his/her citizenship ! Place of birth alone does not define citizenship: John McEnroe is not German, Cliff Richard is not Indian. I would expect that a US serviceman stationed in UK would have his son registered as a US citizen. Mrs Bunnell's nationality is another matter: unless she relinquished her UK citizenship upon marriage, it would entitle her son to claim British citizenship. Certainly, Dewey considers himself to be American: "We were 17,18,19-year-old Americans pitching things around London" [1]. . . . . & written by himself, his manager, his kid[s], or someone else equally too close to the article's subject. as per: all of the thing is under the heading, 'biography', without any differentiation whatever. it reads like something between a press release & the 'catching up!' letter inside a photo Xmas card.
