Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because the Dgroups platform is used by a large amount of people all over the world and is considered a valuable public good. many individuals and organisations working to enhance socio-economic development in the Northern and Southern hemispheres at some point hear about Dgroups and look up more information about the initiative. Maintaining this article (or an improved version of it) on wikipedia will serve to inform many of individuals and organisations on what the platform and initiative is, what it stands for, and how it can be of relevance to them. It is a non-commercial not-for-profit initiative and this article is not meant for promotional but rather for informational purposes. Thank you for not deleting it. — 213.125.22.18 (talk) 11:25, 13 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
