At one point you say the the base was on the side of a lake; later the Chinese attack from the river side. It should be either a lake or a river.

A couple of things which aren't copy edit issues but which may come up at GA review:

The article is not very NPoV, eg "Chinese encroachment into Indian territory" rather than "Chinese incursions into disputed territory held by India" etc.

Your changes to the birth month from April to June here is constituting original research. Unless you can provide a WP:HISTRS compliant and/or a reliable government/army source here, the changes will be reverted.
