Page name[edit]

This talk page was moved to that of Dunghutti Lingo, Dunghutti Language, and a few others, claiming that it was the correct name for the page. I don't know one way or another, but I just spent a while cleaning it up. If the page is to be moved, please start a discussion here prior to moving it, and achieve consensus prior to the move. Thank you, --kelapstick(bainuu) 13:32, 11 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I have move protected this talk page to match that of the article, I am sure that when this talk page was moved it was thought that it was moving the article. Assuming good faith, it should all be sorted now, but it's protected to prevent it from happening by accident again. --kelapstick(bainuu) 13:52, 11 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds good. "Dhanggati" is the spelling used at AIATSIS. ISO uses "Dyangadi", but that's a different pronunciation, not just a different spelling, and they're not a RS. I've bolded those two variants in the lead, and added additional spellings in plain text. — kwami (talk) 20:25, 11 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

language groups, peoples, or spellings[edit]

Please see the discussion at Talk:Djangadi#Equivalent names, neighbours or...? to keep the conversation in one place. I cannot work out if Djangadi and Dunghutti are different groups or different names as both say they speak Dhanggati language. --Scott Davis Talk 10:05, 23 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
