english text not in line with source text[edit]
some of the translation is completely arbitrary, with random things inserted in for no reason; often, these seem to bring the text more in line with western ideals the style of the english text is also entirely at odds with the chinese - this style of classical chinese is meant to imitate authors from the spring and autumn period, and not be excessively specific, while the english version is obscenely verbose for extremely simple ideas, something completely against the grain of the source text 173.226.237.130 (talk) 22:04, 18 May 2022 (UTC)
