The Wimpy Kid series' Ice Age connections[edit]

First of all, this book's subtitle (The Meltdown) is the same subtitle as the second Ice Age movie. Greg Heffley's younger brother is named Manny (same as the mammoth from the Ice Age movies). In the first Diary of a Wimpy Kid movie, the Heffley family is shown watching the first Ice Age movie on TV. 20th Century Fox is the studio behind both the Ice Age franchise and the Diary of a Wimpy Kid movie series. The third Diary of a Wimpy Kid movie (Dog Days) was released in 2012, the same year as the fourth Ice Age movie (Continental Drift). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 104.191.148.95 (talk)
