Tribe: Furchaspidini[edit]

I do not find mention of the Furchaspidini in either Borchsenius or Takagi (the two sources cited in the article), nor in fact do I find it anywhere that is not recycled Wikipedia (such as EOL's incorporation of Spamdap's Wikipedia article on the Furchaspidini). So far as I can tell from sources, the genus Furchadaspis is part of the large tribe Diaspidini, and has only one species, Furchadaspis zamia See Miller (2005) page 218 for a description. Balachowsky placed it in the Diaspidini in 1954,(Balachowsky, A.S. 1954. Les cochenilles Paléarctiques de la tribu des Diaspidini. Memmoires Scientifiques de l'Institut Pasteur, Paris,) and I have found no record of any change. On that basis I have deleted the tribe "Furchaspidini" from this article, and expect to send the Furchaspidini article to Afd this week. See Talk:Furchaspidini. --Bejnar (talk) 22:17, 30 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
