Manager Career[edit]

Kerr was also a manager after his playing days. He managed the team in Wausau, Wisconsin. I don't know the dates of his days in Wausau, or if he managed anywhere else. I do have a picture of him in a Wausau uniform standing next to my grand uncle, Joseph Bernard "Smokey Joe" Millay, who was a pitcher for the Winnipeg Maroons. Kerr at Rice Institute[edit]

Many sources, including their Wikipedia pages, show Joe Bedenk as coaching the Rice Owls baseball team only through 1926, after which they say Richard (Dickey, Dickie, Wee Dickie) Kerr coached there for 1927-8. However, contemporary issues of the Rice Thresher (student newspaper) consistently report that Bedenk coached the Spring 1927 baseball season, and Kerr was at Rice (initially) from January through April 1928. (Kerr was later hired again by Rice in 1949 as an assistant coach.)

This Article Needs Attention![edit]

I fixed one oddly written sentence at the beginning, but upon reading further, I see that this article has a lot more issues that should be addressed. There are a lot of choppy sentences, punctuation/grammar mistakes, and information that really doesn't belong. For example, all three can be seen when the article says: Cora also went by her nickname. The same as her famous husband. Cora was also known as "Pep".
