Kaiser identity confusion[edit]

First we're told this was Joseph II, Holy Roman Emperor; but then we're told it's the "Austrian emperor Franz Joseph II". Well, there was no such person as Franz Joseph II of Austria. There was a Franz Joseph I of Austria (1830-1916).

So, is this meant to be a fictitious "Franz Joseph II of Austria", or the real Joseph II? -- Jack of Oz ... speak! ... 21:48, 6 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The cited source lists "Kaiser Joseph II"; your guess is as good as mine whether he is meant to be fictitious or not, but the "Franz" is my mistake, now corrected. I don't think it's wrong to call him "the Austrian emperor Joseph II" (note: not "Emperor of Austria"). -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 09:02, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
