Source for notability[edit]

The claim that it is a best-selling magazine with a readership of over 600,000 is its source of notability, but no independent and reliable source is given for this figure. Saligron 15:43, 31 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

One or more people has been removing the {{not verified}} tag without explanation and without adding independent sources. If this is just one person doing this, then please stop your avoidant vandalism. Redirects from Chip-india[edit]

Wikiga, could you please provide some background as to why you keep adding redirects from Chip-india to this article? All this is causing us to do is have an Edit war, which is a bad thing. So help me out here, please? --Silverhand^Talk 17:22, 2 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wikiga and others have been blocked indefinitely for these instances of vandalism (they also redirected CHIP (magazine) here). Please file a report at WP:AIV if you see more users redirecting competing magazine's pages to here. Kusma (討論) 18:11, 8 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Digit cover Nov 06.gif[edit]

Image:Digit cover Nov 06.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
