Hello we would like to request an edit on his page to include his 2 sons that have not been added can you please help us to-add this information so it reflects the truth of his life. 84.66.70.167 (talk) 14:51, 6 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Can you link to a source that supports that information? I searched online and couldn't find anything that said he was married or that he had children. Squeakachu (talk) 17:00, 6 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Reliable, verifiable, independent sources are required. Personal email correspondence is not acceptable. Cabayi (talk) 06:17, 7 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

proof of dion Lams children[edit]

https://dionlam.info/ now tell me its not true !!! 2A02:C7C:52B0:7900:5998:A4CB:97E2:87D5 (talk) 06:42, 28 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I'll tell you it's self published and not an independent source. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia which has articles on notable topics. Your sons do not INHERIT notability from their father. The article is not improved by naming his offspring. The sons have privacy rights which you are violating in what appears to be a decades old disagreement with their father. Please stop. Cabayi (talk) 09:18, 28 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
the photographs, passports and all written material is true as u can see, regardless of source. U do not own wikipedia and everyone is entitled to add to it, and permission was obtained by sons prior to publishing. You have way too much to say! 90.240.54.7 (talk) 12:32, 28 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
1. I have never described myself as a "Gatekeeper."
2. Obsessed with Dion Lam? I don't think I had ever heard of him before a few weeks ago, and I've only edited the article twice. That seems like a low bar to establish an obsession.
"...everyone is entitled to add to it..."
Yes, but they have to do so within Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, one of which is that nothing can be added without being cited to a reliable, independent source. Because of that requirement we sometimes have to exclude things that are true. It sucks, but the alternative is much worse, since without such a requirement it would be much easier to add things that are false. Squeakachu (talk) 17:30, 28 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

^ Well, it's been attached.. since you were clearly never ready to acknowledge. Thelilexplorer (talk) 18:07, 28 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
