John Stossel?[edit]

Fair use rationale for Image:Dogbert icon.gif[edit]

Image:Dogbert icon.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Politics[edit]

I note their is a comment about Dogbert being a republican. I recall one strip in 1991 (ok, it would have been in 7 years of Highly defective people as in in 1991, i would have been 7 years old) where Dogbert tells i think Dilbert that he's going to run for president. Dilbert at this asks "As a Democrat" and Dogbert says "No, the Communists. I want a chance to win". I think Dogbert's political view is that everyone should be subservient to him :D Phil Nolte (talk) 21:23, 18 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There is an RfC on the question of using "Religion: None" vs. "Religion: None (atheist)" in the infobox on this and other similar pages.

Birthday[edit]

The last sentence of this article's first paragraph says, "According to the strip from June 8, 1997, Dogbert even celebrates Scott Adams' birthday as his own, as Dogbert is written as being born on June 8, 1957." However, the linked comic from June 8, 1997 does not mention Dogbert's birthday, or contain Dogbert at all.
