Greetings, Wikipedians. This is my very first article, and I'd appreciate any constructive comments and help with it. I haven't yet mastered all the formatting or digested all the Wikipedia guidelines, but I feel it's important to make this small contribution to knowledge concerning a little-known ethnic group, based on third-party source materials I discovered in the course of my own genealogical research and correspondence. Thanks much for the edits, Erica; they do make a better flow. And I didn't know how to get the small picture at the top of the page. You're right about the article on the chickens; being a city fella, I had to google for days to find out just what they were when this subject first came to my attention. Melungeons?[edit]
