Untitled[edit]

This is a great article about the most original sports reporter in Canada. 70.52.181.50 07:37, 1 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah and I'm just afraid some Wiki-nazi is going to come along and cull most of those wonderful Taylorism quotes in the article. Please don't! --Mezaco 21:57, 9 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
They are all gone because Wikipedia is NOT a repository of quotes. They can go to Wikiquote IF they are properly sourced and otherwise meet quotability and copyright guidelines. bd2412 T 17:23, 2 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Self promotion[edit]

Just like the article on David Pratt, this article sounds like nothing more than shameless self promotion, and seems to be written either by Taylor or a close friend, ie. Pratt. For example "he is best known for his witty and comical delivery of the nightly sports highlights." According to whom is he witty or comical? His act is repetitive, tiresome and predicatble. It may have been cute at first, now it's time to change the channel when he is on. Also, is he oblivious to the fact that over half the sportsnet broadcasters he references are no longer with the network? He started incorporating them into his routine when they worked there and he's still referencing them, like Jody Vance and Hazel May. No wonder they got rid of him as color commentator on the EA NHL franchise.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 154.20.20.172 (talk) 00:22, 4 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
