Feedback on your page[edit]

Melissa, Include something in your lead about who Donna Alvermann is. why should we read about her in wikipedia. In the cognitive studies section, include how this group connects with Donna A. After all you spend some time here, and the entry is about her. So add this infor where you talk about that she was the director and delete the cog studies section. what about sections on her major research areas. when I think about her I come up with assoications to content/adolescent reading; identity collaboration, interaction in literacy; and her work in critical/feminist literacies. In any case, can you provide some thematic guides to her work, and list them as sections. Your work here is superior, and your defense of her notability is spot on. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.247.121.244 (talk) 19:00, 8 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Melissa, I added a couple of internal links for your article on Donna Alvermann. Both were internal alumni links to University of Texas at Austin and another at Syracuse University. I believe that you can work in a couple of relevant internal links to adolescent literacy and media literacy as well as to the wiki literacy article itself. but these need to be worded so you can link them in your article. Working on Susan Neuman article now for class project. Check it out. Good LuckJourneyWomanSLP (talk) 05:31, 26 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
