Marriage[edit]

My wife & I had the pleasure of knowing & socializing with Dorothy and her husband George Eber in the 1980s in Newport, Vermont. George was born In Hungry as I recall and was an architect of some renown. He had a particular project designing a resort on the east coast of Australia. Dorothy would was a wonderful person and shared many anecdotes involving her travels to the Arctic and the Inuits in researching her book. We miss her.
