Voice type[edit]

Sorry for the edit and instant undoing, I was checking one printed source (Politkens operafører 1 from 1979) and filled out the voice types in the table (at least partly), but then I checked Heinz Wagner's Das große Handbuch der Oper from 2006 and there was some conflicting information (e.g. Politiken cites Ingeborg as a soprano, but Wagner as a mezzo), so I decided to undo the edit and check more sources. @AccioFelicis: In my experience Heinz Wagner's book has lots of errors. I only use it if I don't find any other sources. But in this case there is an entry by Hans Åstrand in Pipers Enzyklopädie des Musiktheaters (vol. 2, pp. 770-772):
  • König Erik/Erich, genannt Klipping (T)
  • Stig Andersen, sein Marschall (Bar)
  • Ingeborg, seine Frau (Mez)
  • Rane Johnsen, ihr Neffe, Kammerherr des Königs (T)
  • Graf Jakob von Halland (T)
  • Jens Grand, Domprobst (Bar)
  • Arved Bengtsen (T)
  • 6 Verschwörer (T, Bar, B)
  • der Herold des Königs (Bar)
  • Aase, eine Köhlerin (S)
  • Ingeborgs Geist (Sprechrolle)
  • Chor: Ritter, Frauen, Mägde, Gefolge des Marschalls, des Königs, des Domprobsts und Graf Jakobs, Volk, Mönche, Jäger
  • Statisterie: Jagdgefolge des Königs, Herolde

@Rodomonte: Would it be okay for you if I add the information and source you provided to the article? AccioFelicis (talk) 11:22, 22 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@AccioFelicis: Yes, of course. The complete source would be (in the format of the german Wikipedia): Pipers Enzyklopädie des Musiktheaters. Band 2: Werke. Donizetti – Henze. Piper, München/Zürich 1987, ISBN 3-492-02412-2. If you can read german, I could also send you the scans. --Rodomonte (talk) 11:32, 22 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
