Do we have any picture beside him as ben? This basicly says "we remember him on wikipedia only as ben", there HAS to be some free picture of him out of a movie role.--Jakezing (talk) 00:12, 2 March 2008 (UTC)

his time?

"claiming that Night of the Living Dead was 'his' time." What does that mean exactly?--EchetusXe 16:40, 29 December 2009 (UTC)

Filmography

I added the filmography. It's a shame that he made so few films before he died. He was a great actor! (Sugar Bear 05:17, 23 October 2005 (UTC))

I find it hard to believe that Duane Jones played in a movie made in 1989 when he died in July of '88

Obviously, he rose from the dead as a zombie to star in To Die For. Seriously though, that is quite odd. Someone needs to do some research on that. DancingZombies 08:40, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

Don't be obtuse. Filming dates: 7 March 1988 - April 1988. Wildhartlivie (talk) 05:52, 27 September 2008 (UTC)

birth year?

From 2005 to 2012 it was 1936 in this article, and in October 2012 it was changed to 1937. What is right? I think 1988 the NY Times should have known it right [1]: 1988-51 = 1937. But are there other sources? --BLueFiSH  15:14, 20 June 2016 (UTC)

what's this about the Sorbonne?

I quote the article: 'A graduate of the Sorbonne..'

Okay, look, the Sorbonne is in Paris, in France, of course. I'm trying to connect the dots. I don't see a reference for this info given, here. Let us suppose that it is true -- then, what did he study? Is it, like, a Masters in French literature or what? Did he have a scholarship? Such questions sort of burst my bubble; I grow skeptical. In any case, if there are answers, then they would be too interesting to omit here. Again: were there mainstream university classes involved? After all, the university of Paris was created at the very beginning of the 13th century. One of the most famous and largest universities in France. I wonder if maybe Duane Jones was, at one point, an exchange student or something. Like in the plot of 'Suspiria'. But that was a ballet school. I'm looking for references about Duane Jones, and I'll link his obituary in the New York Times, which claims that he was a Phelps-Stokes exchange scholar in Niger. Which, of course, is West Africa. To be clear, I am skeptical of the notion that Duane Jones ever had any stint at the Sorbonne, let alone graduating from it, whatever that means..:
