Support But the two joins near Main Street, which, to me, seems similar to Granville Bridge with the ramps to Howe and Seymour. I am suggesting that the two articles be merged to one, with one as a section of the other. (Like how the ceiling function is included in the floor function article) I am suggesting this partly because the irresponsible-looking "Vancouver freeway plan" section here is becoming an eyesore. _dk 05:22, 22 August 2006 (UTC) This user is the nominator.[reply]

Oppose. I believe they are separate as well. I also don't believe these Viaducts are similar to the Granville Street Bridge. True that Howe & Seymour merge onto the Granville Street Bridge, but they merge onto one platform forming the Granville Street Bridge. The Viaducts are separate platforms with one way traffic. Support. I'm typically anti-mergist but Georgia street viaduct and dunsmir viaduct are part of the same botched freeway system and together they make a decent sized article, seperately they will forever remain stubs. TotallyTempo 16:30, 29 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Support. I too am normally anti-merge, but these are twins by construction and they each merge together onto Prior Street at the east end of the structure. I've seen freeways with one way traffic per side, further apart than this in places. Support I don't know anyone who calls the westbound lanes the "Dunsmuir Viaduct"; all I ever hear is "the Viaduct", or the Georgia Viaduct. As in when you're coming west down Terminal, and the choice is to turn right at Main so as to get to the Viaduct, or ahead to Quebec to choose between 2nd or Pacific Boulevard/Columbia, the question is invariably, "you gonna take the Georgia Viaduct?" (or "the Viaduct"). One rider to this - the old Georgia Viaduct, the one that collapsed, should have its own section, or its own article (and whose big collapsible wireframe gas tanks were hose right about where the east side of the Garage; right about Abbott & Pacific?Skookum1 19:14, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
