Amen to the other comments here. This article is primarily about a very specific, and I'd bet relatively low volume, use of the material. Which are there more of in the world: news sets, or bus stops? But the whole article is about sets. I find the definition to be very narrow. Duratrans is a material to start with, THEN a stage design element. I believe the last sentence of the article should be the first.
Duratrans is a Kodak product, which is a backlit film material. This page only refers to one use of Duratrans.

I concur. Duratrans is a trademarked product name, a fact this article leads with. Therefore the first letter should be capitalized in all instances, except perhaps for the mention in quotes that the term is sometimes used generically. See also this FAQ: [1] The name ends with an s as a contraction of transparent. It is not a plural, so any reference to "duratrans are" is invalid. Plain Text (talk) 17:04, 25 February 2017 (UTC)
