Please note that E-470 is NOT a Colorado State Highway, and it is NOT maintained by CDOT, the Colorado Department of Transportation.

Start an EXpressToll[edit]

Should we start a section on EXpressToll (http://www.expresstoll.com) as this is one of the main tolling methods? It's similar to E-ZPass yet it isn't limited to E-470. The Northwest Parkway and the I-25 Express lanes uses it, and is recognized by the State of Colorado as the only toll transponder for the state. Scam on visitors[edit]

Any chance a section could be included on this profit making road. Family members who visited the states had to return to Denver International got hit with a load of fines on their hire car. Worked out at about $45 in the end But the car nav told them this was the way to go!!! There was no warning that they were falling into an 'only the locals win' scenario. I wonder how many people coming to Colorado are taken for a ride by this short practice. Because it is a con, as drivers are not given a choice i.e. pay or not pay because it's the only rode to the airport and is signposted as such. That's the trick. Colarado should be ashamed of itself. Claim about the highest toll rates[edit]

Critical reception additions[edit]

The following was added:

E-470 Public Highway Authority has come under fire for poor business practices regarding their billing process. The company receives frequent complaints and negative reviews from customers who have (some unknowingly) traveled the toll and months later received a collections notice from Linebarger Gogglan Blair & Sampson, LLP for unpaid balances. These customers complain that they never received a bill from E-470 Public Highway Authority, prior to getting the collections notice, despite the business claiming they mailed out bills. This continues to be a frequent complaint, even today. E-470 Public Highway Authority currently holds a 2-star rating on Yelp, a 1-star rating on Google Reviews, and has 38 complaints on Ripoff Report. The E-470 Public Highway Authority is not accredited by the Better Business Bureau and has two complaints listed on the BBB website.

Personally, this undue weight as its own section. A summary, about half of the length, and cited to news outlets, could be an appropriate addition to the tolls section. "Infill interchange"[edit]

This term is overly jargonistic. For the purposes of the exit list, it's also unnecessary. However it is a detail, if given using plainer language, that is useful in the History section. I assume it's being used to indicate that it was an additional interchange added after initial construction. If so, then let's just say that in plain English. (In the exit list, adding a specific date of opening also tells a reader that it is a newer interchange that came after initial construction because none of the other interchanges list their opening dates.) Map update[edit]

The map must be updated to adhere to OpenStreetMap standards. Since E-470 is a toll highway, it should be colored green; C-470 should be colored red.
