Old talk[edit]

I'm trying to verify this entry ... does anyone know what the 'E.K.' stands for. I'd also like to make sure that the name really is Gauzen with a G ... German names beginning with an H are translated into Russian names beginning with a G. Was he a Hausen / Hauzen ??? Stumps 11:10, 5 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

  • I have found a few references to Gauzen in Russian sites devoted to history of diving. They all seems to come from the same sources. Gauzen is referenced as Гаузен or Э.К. Гаузен - no spelling out the initials. if we assume they guy was an ethnical German, he is most probably Hausen, but there are just too many oh Hauzens/Hausens on internet. abakharev 02:19, 6 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Helmet[edit]

I removed the clause "While the helmet was not sealed with leather suit hermetically," because I couldn't understand what was intended. Can someone clarify this? This guy doesn't show up in many (admittedly Western-European or U.S 'history of diving' sites). Stumps 11:40, 5 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
