Recommend moving the extensive listing of IEC Standards, etc. to another page

EN 62262 references three other standards which provide a more complete understanding of the testing requirements. However there is an extensive list of unrelated standards at the bottom of the page. Most of the standards listed do not appear to refer to impact testing, and are not specified in EN 62262 (or within the other three). Reducing the list to a link to another page would add clarity. I recommend that the list be moved to a new page, or be merged with other existing pages and then provide a "link to IEC Standards", etc. Then we can add the three standards referenced in EN 62262, which are critical for developing accurate IK Code tests. They are: IEC 60050, IEC 60068-1, and IEC 60068-2-75.Supposer (talk) 23:08, 31 January 2018 (UTC)

No definitive origin to state the meaning of letters I and K

Some articles define K as "Kinetic". Kindly complete the origin where the letters I and K were derived. IP makes a sensible meaning of Ingress Protection. "Impact Kinetic" does not sound right. Or does it? 142.112.34.2 (talk) 15:26, 3 May 2023 (UTC)
