Article name[edit]

The article name seems to follow Japanese Navy convention, however was installed aldo in Italian and Argentine ships in greater numbers. Should it be renamed following a more generic denomination, and then navy-specific names redirecting to it? Regards, DPdH (talk) 23:23, 19 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The obvious alternative name would be derived from its caliber length and I think that it's probable that this was not the only 10-inch gun of that caliber length built. So I think that the best thing to do is to leave this article alone and redirect the Italian and Argentinian usages here. If you can discover the formal names used by them, which I've found can be surprisingly hard to do.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 23:58, 19 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
