Incorrect RXB encoding[edit]

This article says that

Comparing to the VEX prefix, RXB are provided in non-inversed forms, just like in the REX prefix

which seems to be incorrect. From this discussion we can see that [sandpile http://www.sandpile.org/x86/opc_enc.htm] says that those bits are stored inverted, and assemblers also output them inverted. In the non-inversed form there will be no way to remove opcode ambiguity in 32-bit mode

Adding URL with "%" breaks layout[edit]

I tried repairing a broken URL, replacing it with: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/X86#APX_%28Advanced_Performance_Extensions%29 - but doing so required a space character before the text description and after the link (to avoid the layout adding a pipe to the end of the URL); this broke the "appearance" of the webpage, but it's not 'awful', though now the URL works correctly (no 404). 😐

A more skillful editor should kindly fix this, a link to the Wiki on how to do this correctly is appreciated. Thanks in advance. 70.70.102.151 (talk) 08:07, 27 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
