In light of Earl Powell’s retirement, this page could use a lot of updating to cover the entirety of his career as well as the end of his tenure as NGA director. I am posting this due to a COI and hope that someone takes up the task. Some of the issues missing from this page are:
the maintenance and expansion work on the both the West and East Buildings
shows with the highest attendance during his tenure
his role with the Corcoran collection chiefly coming to the NGA
date of his retirement and that he is followed by Kaywin Feldman as director
