  • Some charts would be nice.
  • Getting into more detail about the human condition during these years would also be nice.
  • What were the long term effects that are still being felt now?
  • What about other minor countries?
  • Who are the economists that allegedly have been predicting the recession for years?
  • not 100% sure how to suggest a change, but this sentence in the introduction clearly needs a change: "Many credit homeowners in the midst of the housing bubble for taking-out second mortgages on the added property value and using the funds to boost consumer spending at the request of elected officials who told Americans it was patriotic and that they should spend their way out of the recession." First off, this starts with a weasel word: who are the "many" who credit homeowners? Second, where's a source for these "many"? Third, any source should also include an example of elected officials actually requesting people take out second mortgages. I don't think any such request was ever made. Same for telling people it was patriotic. If you want to say this is all implicit in our entire consumerist culture, that's one thing. But the statement as it reads is simply not true.
