what is the current earthquake performance???

Cleaning up[edit]

The version of this article - until now - was largely a promotional piece written by and about V. Shustov's own EPET software, and mostly cut & pasted from his own publications.

I've trimmed back the text, cleaned up the overlinking, gone easier on the images, and removed the EPET-specific stuff. Experts in the field are encouraged to add information - in moderation - about what software tools are regularly used by professional engineers and researchers. Also, if someone knows of a list of popular programs curated by neutral and respected agency (like the USGS), that would be a useful external link.

References are always good, as would be original text describing both analytical and physical simulations of earthquake performance. Cheers! TenOfAllTrades(talk) 17:42, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind — I'm merging this article to earthquake simulation; it's a slightly broader title that should encompass this topic comfortably. TenOfAllTrades(talk) 17:48, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
