Nordenstreng[edit]

No expert at this at all - still the claim that someone by the name of "Norderstreng" was the - note - "likely" originator of the theory of a Baltic race seems to me utterly unsatisfactory. Even more so, as on googling "Nordenstreng" most hits turn up mirror pages of just this questionable wikipedia reference. So please someone in the know edit this - else it be better deleted. Nordenstreng is the name given by Gunther as the originator of the concept. He does not give his first name. A look in ther academic library catalogues revealed more than one Nordenstreng who might be the one in questuion, but I could not definitively identify the correct first name. Rolf Nordenstreng is indentified as the originator on page 248 of Montandon's La Race Les Races. Improving a page by adding to it does require more effort than criticizing or deleting. Shall we build together?209.242.149.240 (talk) 00:14, 18 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
