Khalkhas and Buryats as Eastern Mongols??[edit]

Buryat and Khalkha people might have been called "Eastern" when compared to Oirat, but has anyone called them thus when referring to one of these two groups exclusively? And if so, how long back in time did this take place? I think this disambiguation page might be somewhat misleading else. But I wouldn't mind if there are good references. Well, no literature was provided. The problem with the original article might just have been that it didn't conjoin the first three groups. You can only be Eastern if somebody else is western, of course, and the regrouping takes care of that. The new wording might still be sub-optimal, though.
